Le Chapelet des 5 continents : une aventure dans le monde entier
Une grande nouveauté du Festival
Vous avez dit « international » ? Voici ce qui a été un des piliers de ce festival 2009. Un chapelet vécu en communion, au même moment dimanche 16 août à 17h, avec des personnes du monde entier. Une nouveauté qui a pour fondement de redécouvrir la vocation de la France, fille aînée de l’Église, d’intercéder pour le monde et pour l’Église.
40 pays ont été réunis pour cet événement majeur, et plus de 50000 personnes sur les ondes radio, comme un grand chapelet autour du monde, chacun de nos coeurs étant une boule de ce chapelet, attachée et unie aux autres par le lien de la prière. Le chapelet a été prié en 10 langues.

Les Mystères Glorieux
Présentation :
Dans la continuité de la Consécration du monde à la Vierge Marie par Jean Paul II et sa prière sur cette même esplanade en 1986, nous vous proposons de réciter les Mystères Glorieux de notre chapelet en ce lieu béni.
Nous sommes dans la cité du Cœur de Jésus, et ce Cœur Sacré accueille le Cœur Immaculé de sa Mère à travers le Festival Marial International. C’est donc plongés dans cet amour qui unit les Cœurs de Jésus et de Marie que nous allons prier ce chapelet des 5 continents, en union de prière à la même heure dans le monde entier.
Nous prierons avec la Parole de Dieu, aidés par des méditations de Jean-Paul II lors de sa venue en France, et confiant nos grandes intentions de prière à l’intercession des deux Cœurs de Jésus et Marie auprès du Père.
Béni soit Dieu pour vous tous qui vous unissez à notre chapelet d’aujourd’hui. Tous nos cœurs réunis forment un immense chapelet, qui parcourt le monde entier, et qui va intercéder avec force pour la Paix, pour l’Eglise, pour la France, pour le monde et la mission, pour chacun de nous en particulier.
Marie, Vierge au globe qui porte avec nous toutes ces intentions, nous te prions avec tous les Saints du Ciel : que ce chapelet porte de nombreux fruits et que des grâces nombreuses soient répandues sur tous. « Marie Reine des Saints », prie avec nous et pour nous !

Premier mystère glorieux : La Résurrection de Jésus
Jean 11, 25-27 :
Jésus dit à Marthe : « Moi, je suis la Résurrection et la Vie. Celui qui croit en moi, même s’il meurt, vivra ; et tout homme qui vit et croit en moi ne mourra jamais. Crois-tu cela ? Elle répondit : « Oui Seigneur tu es le Messie, je le crois ; tu es le Fils de Dieu, celui qui vient dans le monde. »

« Jésus est ressuscité d’entre les morts. Prions pour honorer la résurrection du Seigneur Jésus. Bénissons la Mère du vainqueur de la mort et du péché. Avec elle bénissons le Ressuscité.

Deuxième Mystère Glorieux : L’Ascension de Jésus au Ciel
Marc 16, 15-20 :
Puis il leur dit: Allez par tout le monde, et prêchez la bonne nouvelle à toute la création. [16] Celui qui croira et qui sera baptisé sera sauvé, mais celui qui ne croira pas sera condamné. [17] Voici les miracles qui accompagneront ceux qui auront cru: en mon nom, ils chasseront les démons; ils parleront de nouvelles langues; [18] ils saisiront des serpents; s'ils boivent quelque breuvage mortel, il ne leur fera point de mal; ils imposeront les mains aux malades, et les malades, seront guéris. [19] Le Seigneur, après leur avoir parlé, fut enlevé au ciel, et il s'assit à la droite de Dieu. [20] Et ils s'en allèrent prêcher partout. Le Seigneur travaillait avec eux, et confirmait la parole par les miracles qui l'accompagnaient.

Père tout puissant, par l’intercession du Cœur Très Sacré de Jésus et du Cœur Immaculé de Marie, nous te prions pour Notre Saint Père le Pape Benoît XVI, les évêques, les prêtres, les religieux, donnent leur la force, la joie et l’amour de nous guider. En cette année du prêtre, nous te demandons des vocations sacerdotales et religieuses.

Troisième Mystère Glorieux : La Pentecôte
Actes des Apôtres 1, 14 2 ; 1-4 :
D’un seul cœur, ils participaient à la prière avec quelques femmes dont Marie, mère de Jésus, et avec ses frères.
Quand arriva la Pentecôte (le cinquantième jour après Pâques), ils se trouvaient réunis tous ensemble. Soudain il vint du ciel un bruit pareil à celui d’un violent coup de vent : toute la maison où ils se tenaient en fût remplie. Ils virent apparaître comme une sorte de feu qui se partageait en langues et qui se posa sur chacun d’eux. Alors ils furent tous remplis de l’Esprit Saint : ils se mirent à parler en d’autres langues, et chacun s’exprimait selon le don de l’Esprit.

« L ‘Esprit Saint est descendu sur les apôtres rassemblés avec Marie. Prions pour honorer l’événement de la Pentecôte. Louons Marie en qui l’Esprit Saint a donné naissance au Rédempteur du monde. Louons Jésus d’avoir envoyé son Esprit aux premiers disciples comme Il le donne aujourd’hui. »
Père tout puissant, par l’intercession du Cœur Très Sacré de Jésus et du Cœur Immaculé de Marie, nous t’en prions : que l’Esprit Saint renouvelle en son Eglise les merveilles de la Pentecôte. Nous te prions spécialement pour la conversion des pécheurs et l’évangélisation du monde entier.

Quatrième Mystère Glorieux : L’Assomption de la Vierge Marie
Luc 1, 46-55 :
Mon âme exalte le Seigneur, et mon esprit exulte en Dieu mon Sauveur. Il s'est penché sur son humble servante ; désormais tous les âges me diront bienheureuse. Le Puissant fit pour moi des merveilles ; Saint est son nom ! Son amour s'étend d'âge en âge sur ceux qui le craignent. Déployant la force de son bras, il disperse les superbes. Il renverse les puissants de leurs trônes, il élève les humbles. Il comble de bien les affamés, renvoie les riches les mains vides. Il relève Israël son serviteur, il se souvient de son amour, de la promesse faite à nos pères, en faveur d'Abraham et de sa race à jamais.

« La Vierge Marie a été élevée au Ciel. Prions pour honorer l’assomption de la Vierge Marie. Louons Marie de Nazareth, Marie de Bethléem, de la présentation au Temple, de Cana, du Calvaire, du Cénacle. Elle a été glorifiée directement en son âme et en son corps. Remercions Jésus d’avoir fait participé sa Mère à sa vie de Ressuscité. »
Père tout puissant, par l’intercession du Cœur Très Sacré de Jésus et du Cœur Immaculé de Marie, nous te prions : que la France, qui a été consacrée à Marie, reconnaisse à nouveau et joue pleinement son rôle de Fille Aînée de l’Eglise dans le monde. Ceci non pour elle-même mais au service de l’Eglise et pour l’annonce de l’Evangile jusqu’aux confins de la terre.

Cinquième mystère Glorieux : Le couronnement de la Vierge Marie
Apocalypse 12, 1 :
Un signe grandiose apparut dans le ciel : une Femme, ayant le soleil pour manteau, la lune sous les pieds, et sur la tête une couronne de 12 étoiles.
Jean Paul II à Lourdes en 2004 :
« La Vierge Marie est glorifiée au Ciel. Prions pour honorer le couronnement de notre Dame, saluons avec toute la tradition Marie participante à la royauté spirituelle du Christ Rédempteur. Bénissons Jésus d’avoir associé sa Mère à l’extension de son Règne.
Père tout puissant, par l’intercession du Cœur Très Sacré de Jésus et du Cœur Immaculé de Marie, nous te prions. Que Marie mère et reine élève et éduque chacun de nous à une grande et belle sainteté, pour le service de l’Eglise et de nos frères. Que nous puissions, comme les étoiles du ciel, rayonner de l’amour que Dieu a pour tous les hommes.

In the continuity of the Dedication of the world to the Virgin Mary by John Paul II and his prayers on this same esplanade in 1986, we invite you to pray the Glorious Mysteries of our Rosary for Peace in the World, the conversion of sinners and the mission of France as the eldest daughter of the Church.
In order that the recitation of this rosary may reflect our love for the Virgin Mary, we thus will recite it with the greatest gentleness and of all our hearts.

Almighty Father, by the intercession of the Very Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, we pray for Pope Benedict XVI, the bishops, priests, and those in the religious life. Give them the power, the joy and the love to guide us. In this year of the priest, we ask you for sacerdotal and religious vocations.

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

“The Holy Spirit is descended on the apostles gathered with Mary. Let us praise to honor the event of Pentecost. Let us praise the Virgin Mary who, by the Holy Spirit, gave birth to the Redeemer of the world. Let us praise Jesus for having sent His Spirit to the first disciples as to us also today. Let us beg the Virgin Mary, perfectly faithful to the Holy Spirit, to grant this same fidelity to the persons in charge and to the members of the Church.”
Almighty Father, by the intercession of the Very Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, let us pray that the Holy Spirit renews in His Church the wonders of Pentecost. We ask you especially for the conversion of sinners and the evangelization of the whole world.

Fourth mystery: The Assumption of the Virgin Mary

Almighty Father, by the intercession of the Very Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, we pray that France, which was devoted to Mary, recognizes again and fully plays its part of Eldest Daughter of the Church in the world. This not for herself but for the service of the Church and for the proclamation of the Gospel to the ends of the Earth.

“The Virgin Mary is glorified in Heaven. Let us pray to honor the crowning of Our Lady, to greet with all the tradition Mary with the spiritual royalty of Christ the Redeemer. Let us bless Jesus to have given His Mother the extension of Her Reign. O Mother of the Church, O Queen of the Universe, we ask you to extend to all the Earth your maternal protection!
